The Kongo Central Literary Fair (SALIK) is coming to Kisantu!
This major literary event will highlight the richness of Congolese literature. The Kongo Central Literary Fair will take place from September 25 to September 27 at Collège Kubama, Kisantu.
The chosen theme is: Writing for Peace!
The goal of this event is to promote and foster a love for Congolese literature around the world.
Naviprojects will also be part of the event with the children books “Meeting the bonobo” , “Meeting the okapi” and “Meeting the Mountain Gorilla”
Some of the honored guests include Kash, Elodie Ngalaka, Julie Ilondo Nguini, Missy Bangala, Dash Kuba, Richard Ali… The full list of guests will be announced soon.
Program highlights:
- The Collectif Les Inattendus will host public readings, workshops, and reading performances.
- The Association of Booksellers of the DRC will be present to the delight of book lovers.
- The LAESH Bookstore will take part in the event, offering a wide selection of works.
