Naviprojects LLC and the children’s library Liziba ya Mayele are working together to organize reading festivals across the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Reading festival
The 1st edition was held in N’Sele, at the Maman Sifa Institute. From May 23 to May 25, 2025, around 3,000 children from 30 public schools attended the Festival. This project has been initiated by the Leopard musical group. This group works around this suburb to encourage children to go to school. Many partners have joined forces to make this event possible and memorable. See images
The second edition was held at the Liziba ya Mayele library from February 26 to February 28, 2026. Schools around the Mont Ngafula area attended the Reading Festival, giving the kids a unique experience. See images.
The 3rd edition will be held in 2027.
