A new social program designed to make a greater impact on children, particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This social program, NaviLitt, will strengthen the mission of Naviprojects, which is to introduce children to reading from an early age. To successfully carry out this mission, it will now organize and coordinate various reading-related activities.
Through reading workshops, competitions, festivals, and mini literary cafés, children will receive free gifts — various rewards designed to encourage them to read and to visit libraries more regularly.
This program will also enable different libraries to receive books from Naviprojects free of charge.
For its first year, from June 2025 to December 2026, NaviLitt aims to reach around 3,500 children. The primary target is children from underprivileged backgrounds, living in the outskirts of the Congolese capital and in provincial areas.
Anyone wishing to contribute to the NaviLitt program — whether financially, by donating books, or by volunteering in any form — can register here.
